Exactly like shooting a gun, there are only a few techniques that work. In the confusion and stress of a mortal conflict only direct, effective and powerful techniques work.
That’s why we don’t make our students collectors of thousands of techniques. Just like shooting, we hard-wire skills to be effective in a variety of environments.
Furthermore, our students confront the truth about where and how violence occurs. We realize that violence is not a sport and we certainly don’t try to impose a sport fighting method on our students.

TRAINING & COURSES
Join us to be trained in the most successful military hand to hand fighting. You’ll be trained in the Commando hand to hand system used by the most effective US Special Ops group in history, who had over 100 successful behind the lines missions with no causalities. We are not a sport training facility. We do not try to create technique collectors. We produce results.
Commando hand to hand courses Live Training
Alpha Camp:
This is the fundamental training that can be used in any environment. It teaches you unique tactics to our specific battle plan. This training is vastly different than what any one else is doing. You learn new targets, new strikes, new throws. You are Hard Wired. This Camp offers a 1 day short course or for those that wish to graduate and receive a certificate a 1 evening and 2 day course of 12 hours.
Bravo Camp:
This is specific Hostile Immersion to Cold Weather. You will learn specific Throws and tactics for use in Cold Weather–parkas, mittens, heavy boots, while in snow, or ice. This Camp offers a 1 day short course or for those that wish to graduate and receive a certificate a 1 evening and 2 day course of 12 hours.
Charlie Camp: This is specific Hostile Immersion for Urban Environments. You will learn how to use specific Worst Case throws, take downs, strikes and escapes. This Camp offers a 1 day short course or for those that wish to graduate and receive a certificate a 1 evening and 2 day course of 12 hours.
Pre Q Assessment and Q Course: This is the elite instructors’ course. You will be pushed in ways you have never dreamed of. This will take you to new heights and improve your ability. Warning: Not everyone makes it.
PRE Q COURSE 1 and 2: Pre Q: 1) If you have never trained with us before you must take the full 4 day Pre Q course. 2) If you have trained with us and our a graduate of one camp you must take the 2 day Pre Q camp. 3) If you are a graduate of 2 prior camps it is still advised that you take the 2 day pre Q camp to increase your chances of making it through Q Course (each of these is 10 hours in total or for both Pre Q 1 and 2 that makes it 20 hours of training).
Q COURSE:
The actual Q Course is 5 days long and will contain phases around the clock. You will be pushed in ways you have never been pushed. We do not set the bar low for our instructors. You will hard-wire until you think you can’t. You will learn group and team skills. You will overcome violence in a variety of environments. You will be pushed emotionally and psychologically–we will find what makes you tick. Your days and nights are going to be filled. On top of all the fun, you will be taught how to teach (in our specific flawless technique). You will be pushed through advanced tactics. You will be scared, you will be tested and then tested again. There will be an official interview and evaluation during the 5 days in front of both senior master instructors. We will test your character as you teach a segment during the 5 days. You will be instructed what to do–doing it and succeeding it is on you. If you have what it takes and pass (and not everyone does) you will join an elite brotherhood. It is also your pass to advanced courses and possibilities of being part of our cadre. Because of this virtual 24 hours a day possibility (just like the possibility of violence) we want you to have the strongest chance of earning the Group Alpha Tab and you will camp on the premises (there is just a nominal expense for the costs of toilets, sleeping area, cleaning, etc).
NOTE: Do you think you’re elite? Do you think you have all the right stuff and then some? Then prove it to us. We award TOP candidate awards (maximum of 2) and if you earn it (not saying anyone will) you will get perks on your future career in Combat-Judo (we’ll talk to you).
Kilo Course:
Kilo is the Commando Blade Course, especially designed for blades 5 to 7 inches long. We do cover smaller and larger blades but Kilo concentrates on the modern utility and fighting knife. Kilo is a specialized course that covers a great many approaches (Filipino, basic European, Bowie Method, past military approach) before starting to teach you modern commando techniques. This course is unique in that it will take a very high percentage of physical and technical skill to pass. This is much like combat/war gun moving courses. To pass this course requires motivation and focus. And make no mistake about it, this course is a serious upgrade to your unarmed skills. Kilo Basic Commando will be 5 days and we suggest that you take advantage of camping on the premises during the duration.
Mandatory equipment for the Course: A Glock 81 Field Knife. A 16 ounce claw hammer. It is required that you bring a Glock 81 Field Knife (used by several elite units) and is perfect training for all other fighting/utility knives.
Differences between Commando hand to hand Camps and Courses:
CAMPS: Camps are open to everyone. We can take you from 0 to hero in our camps. If you focus and do the complete camp you will earn a certification of graduation (although it is not necessary to pursue the certificate if you don’t want).
COURSES: Courses are vastly different. We up the standards, the training tempo is higher. Your responsibility is the up most deciding factor if you pass and earn the certificate and tab or not. We must invest even more time and effort to prepare courses and we do this to help you. That being said, everything rests on your ability to do what is asked of you. Remember that not everyone passes. And if you need to recycle to take the course again we will talk to you (it does incur costs again–as we are limited to the slots we can offer at a course more so than we are at a camp). We will be running Alpha Echo Course, Bravo Echo Course, Charlie Echo Course and some others in the future once you earn the Q Tab.
